Change of Visa policies for Thailand

Travellers without visa will get only 15 days of stay if they are arriving via a land border checkpoint from a neigboring country. Travellers arriving via an international airport will obtain a 30 days stay.

It is only possible to extend this visa by 7 days for 1.900 baht. Other than that, travelers are forced to exit and re-enter the country to get another 15 days or to get a proper visa a thai embassy / consulate.


Travellers with Malaysian passports will obtain a 30 days stay.
